DAAD New Delhi organised a Fact-Finding Mission to Bhutan for a delegation of 8 German Professors from the field of Law, Agriculture, Education, Energy, Management and Economics, Environment Science from 25th till 29th September 2017.
The Professors from FU Berlin, Uni Bonn, Uni Hohenheim, TU Dortmund, PH Heidelberg, Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, HU Berlin and FH Trier visited various institutions in Bhutan and had intensive discussions regarding future possible collaborations. The delegation met the officials at the Ministry of Education and had an intense discussion with the Vice Chancellor of the Royal University of Bhutan, Dasho Nidup Dorji and other Deans and Directors of RUB.
The meetings also took place with faculty at the College of Natural Resources, Royal Institute of Management, JSW School of Law, Paro College of Education, Royal Academy of Bhutan and Royal Thimphu College. The meetings resulted in identifying different topics for future collaboration and common interest for cooperation at various levels.
