The call for proposals for the second phase of the joint programme Indo-German Partnerships in Higher Education (IGP) has been launched.
The MoU between DAAD and UGC for the second phase was signed during the 5th Indo-German Intergovernmental Consultations held in New Delhi on 1 November 2019. The Education ministries of India and Germany invested 3.5 million Euro each over a period of four years from 2020-2024 to encourage and support cooperation between higher education institutions in each country.
The objective is to further strengthen the bilateral cooperation in the field of higher education between India and Germany.
Who may apply?
From India: Public institutions that are eligible to receive development grants from the UGC and all the MHRD funded institutions
From Germany: State and state-recognised German institutions of higher education
