DAAD-UGC Project-based Personnel Exchange Programme 2022
University professors and scientists from German and Indian universities and those in permanent employment at independent research institutes are eligible to apply for 2 years funding for collaborative research projects between Indian and German research groups in the field of humanities and social sciences. Young researchers get an opportunity to gain international research experience and undergo further training at an international level. The bilateral research cooperation can be used as a starting point for future co-operations.
Applications need to be submitted by Indian and German partners to UGC as well as to DAAD.

The funding for the selected projects shall start from June 2023.
The DAAD New Delhi is organising a web session focussing on the DAAD-UGC Project- based Personnel Exchange Programme 2022 .
The session is for researchers, faculty, academicians, and institutional representatives from Indian higher education institutions which are eligible for a UGC funding. The programme aims to strengthen the collaboration between Indian and German research groups working jointly on a particular research project in the field of Humanities and Social Science.
