DAAD Alumni Meet for Pune and Mumbai Region 2022
With a long history of funding scholars for academic as well as artistic endeavours, the DAAD has a rich network of alumni. It keeps this connection going through regular regional meetings and workshops.
The recently held Alumni Meet was organised on 24 and 25 November 2022 in cooperation with Goethe-Institut Max Mueller Bhavan Pune.

The two-day event started with the insightful and thought-provoking exhibition “Critical Zones” by the ZKM, Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe. The hypothesis of the exhibition was ‘the best way to map the Earth is to see it as a network of CRITICAL ZONES’. With this as the starting point, the day continued with an interdisciplinary panel discussion on the topic “Resilient Societies for a Sustainable Planet”.

The second day ensured interaction between alumni from the year 1985 to 2021. With their varied academic and cultural backgrounds, the alumni discussed how they can contribute towards the facilitation of Indo-German science cooperation within the SDG context.
