South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule Südwestfalen) in Soest, Germany offers ambitious professionals a unique opportunity to further qualify themselves with a Master‘s program in the fields of Management and IT. The M.A. International Management & Information Systems - Online (IMIS Online) is conducted mostly online and provides students the opportunity to obtain the degree while continuing their professional employment. IMIS Online thereby distinguishes itself from pure online formats through two compulsory on-campus phases comprising three weeks in total. In this way, students can benefit from the flexibility of studying online, but do not have to compromise on international experiences including networking with their professors and fellow students on campus in Germany.
90 Credits in Management and IT. IMIS Online is a 90 credits program spread across 4 semesters, offering a two-fold qualification where IT-related subjects, such as Business Informatics, Enterprise Resource Planning, Business Intelligence, and Electronic Business are coupled with key Business Administration competencies including International Management, International Economics, Process Management, Innovation Management, and Management Accounting & Finance. This way, the program prepares for leadership roles in a globalized economy in which the intelligent use of IT systems is becoming a critical success factor.
Benefits from experience. With a total of four study programs conducted entirely in English, FH SWF achieved to build up a network of people from around the world, encouraging diversity and exchange. IMIS Online is the third international study program at the Center for Business Education in Soest, where online learning has developed into a well-established teaching format. The IMIS Online program is based on self-financing of the students (respectively their employers) and starts every winter semester.
