Zusätzlich zu den Informationszentren hat der DAAD ein aktives Netzwerk mit Lektoren, Sprachassistenten, Young Ambassadors, Research Ambassadors und Alumni in Indien, Bangladesch, Bhutan, Nepal und Sri Lanka.
Der DAAD vermittelt Lektorinnen/Lektoren und Sprachassistentinnen/Sprachassistenten vorrangig im Fach Germanistik / Deutsch als Fremdsprache an Hochschulen.
Young Ambassadors sind Studenten, junge Wissenschaftler oder Berufstätige, die vor kurzem in Deutschland studiert oder geforscht haben und für ein Studium oder Forschung in Deutschland werben wollen.
DAAD Research Ambassadors sind ausgewählte Deutschlandalumni in Indien, Bangladesch, Bhutan, Nepal und Sri Lanka. Sie informieren ihre Kollegen und Studenten über das Forschungs- und Studienstandort Deutschland und helfen bilaterale Kooperationen zu bilden.
