Call for Applications: DAAD–DST Project-based Personnel Exchange Programme

University professors and scientists from German and Indian universities and those in permanent employment at independent research institutes are eligible to apply.

University professors and scientists from German and Indian universities and those in permanent employment at independent research institutes are eligible to apply for 2 years funding for collaborative research projects between Indian and German research groups in the field of engineering and natural science. Young researchers get an opportunity to gain international research experience and undergone further training at an international level.

The bilateral research cooperation can be used as a starting point for future co-operations.

Applications need to be submitted simultaneously by Indian and German partners to DST as well as to DAAD.

Application Deadline: 20 November 2023

The funding for the selected projects shall start from June 2024.
