The German Embassy Dhaka together with DAAD Bangladesh hosted a Scholarship Certificate Ceremony to welcome the 2023 cohort of awardees. Out of the 21 scholarship holders, three of them are pursuing their PhDs while the other 18 have secured a scholarship in the Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (EPOS).
Eight candidates from Sri Lanka who were awarded DAAD scholarships in 2023 for Masters and PhD studies in Germany were presented with certificates by the Ambassador of Federal Republic of Germany to Sri Lanka and Maldives at the Alumni Networking Reception organised by the German Embassy Colombo on the occasion of the 70 years of diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and Germany at the Ambassador’s Lodge, Colombo.
The DAAD organised scholarship certificate handing over ceremonies in collaboration with the German Embassy New Delhi (3 May) as well as German Consulates in Mumbai (5 May), Chennai (2 May) and Kolkata (4 May).
The recent alumni meet (27-28 April) in Kathmandu, Nepal, brought together more than 50 participants including alumni of the DAAD and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH), alumni associations and stakeholders from various disciplines and backgrounds.
The programme will enable the participants to build up improved and more effective structures and procedures of internationalisation at their home universities. | Application Deadline: 19 May 2023, 09:00 CET
