DAAD Scholarship Certificate Handover 2025
The certificate handover was carried out at the German Embassy Colombo on Thursday, 22nd May 2025 from 2 – 3 pm. His Excellency Dr Felix Neumann, Ambassador of Germany handed over the certificates in the presence of Marisa Kollenberg, Head of Culture Section and Vishma Wickramawardane, Press and Cultural Officer of the German Embassy.
One candidate received the Graduate School Scholarship Programme (GSSP) for structured PhD, three candidates received the Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (EPOS) scholarship, one candidate received the Helmut-Schmidt-Programme (Master’s Scholarships for Public Policy and Good Governance – PPGG) scholarship and one undergraduate student received the University Summer Courses scholarship offered in Germany for Foreign Students and Graduates.
H. E. Dr. Felix Neumann engaged in a friendly discussion with the awardees where they discussed their study areas, interests and also the historic significance of the cities they will be going to.
