RISE WorldWide: Call for Project offers 2026

Research groups in India can host a German undergraduate research assistant in summer 2026.

RISE Worldwide is entering its 17th year! Since its start, nearly 4,000 German undergraduate students have joined research projects across the globe.

DAAD invites Indian research groups, labs and doctoral students to submit project offers and host a motivated student from Germany in summer 2026. Students bring expertise in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, Medicine (and related fields), and are supported by a DAAD scholarship.

Submission of project proposals: 15 August – 30 September 2025
Internship duration: 6 weeks – 3 months (starting June 1, 2026)
