Indian student numbers in Germany continue to be on the rise. The number of Indian students in Germany has doubled in the last five years. Indian students are now the largest international community on the German campuses.

Pre-Departure Sessions 2023

Over the month of July, the DAAD conducted two Pre- Departure sessions for students with admit to German universities. The idea behind these sessions was to inform students about steps they must take now that they are leaving for Germany. This included everything from packing bags and registering themselves at the city office to leisure activities they can do in Germany and what kind of cultural differences they will experience in the new country.

Action for Early Career Researchers
